He emerged onto the skateboarding scene in the early 1990s and won Thrasher magazine\'s Skater of the Year award in 1998. He is nicknamed Drew, The Boss, Spock, and Turtle Boy. His signature trick is the frontside flip . He has performed this trick down the Wilshire fifteen set in \"Baker 2G\", Wallenberg Set, the LOVE gap in the Emerica Video This is Skateboarding, over the Hollywood High 16 stair rail, and over a 17 stair set in Baker 3. \nHe is also known to dominate skate spots with memorable tricks such as full cab over the handrail in the beginning of his part in the Birdhouse Video \"The End\", and 360 nollie barrel rolled down the Carlsbad Gap.\n\nAndrew was first pro by Gordon&Smith Skateboards, and turned pro with Birdhouse Skateboards in 1995. He left Birdhouse and started Baker Skateboards in 2001. Reynolds is noted for his popular line of pro skate shoes on Emerica, a skate shoe brand: The Reynolds, The Reynolds 2, The Reynolds 3, The AR Slim, and The Boss. Reynolds was a rider for KR3W apparel, but left the company in 2006 to start his own clothing brand called Altamont, where he has many signature articles.He also has a pro model truck from Independent Truck Company.\n\nAndrew has appeared as himself in several videos and video games. He has also had some minor acting parts in films such as Cop and a 1/2.\n\nAndrew currently resides in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, California with his wife Christianna, and daughter Stella.
